Summers Landing Apartments

After living here for a few months I have realized how blessed I am to have Gracie as a property manager. I am easily able to communicate with staff and all maintenance is resolved quickly. The landscape and everything is kept clean and presentable. However what triggered me writing a review was how quickly and proactively management responded to criminal activity in the complex. They even posted safety packets on every single door and kept us updated with investigations through the police department. I have never lived anywhere that would have responded like that and I was just blown away by Gracies management and the community that I live in. It is an overall peaceful and friendly community. Thank you to the staff at summers landing!

I recently put in an application they said i dont qualify and they declined it and i was told i will receive my refund in 30days. After 30days i am been told no refund. Guys thos apartment when you are filling application tge reception will tell you if you get decline you will get your refund that is a lie. Currently they owe me $200 that they dont want to refund!

Honest review: fairly decent for the price, stellar staff, but lots of issues due to outdated construction. I didnt deal with bugs in my unit (second floor), but I had rats several times over the course of my lease. I have no idea how they got in. One chewed a hole through my dishwasher and caused it to leak everywhere. There was a musty, moldy smell coming from my kitchen pipes and settling into my cabinets, which we figured must just be either smells from my neighbors kitchen coming in through my sink or just a musty smell from the pipes themselves. I stopped cooking and eating in my kitchen halfway through my lease because it felt so dirty with the smell and the rats. The drywall fell from my ceiling at one point. The buildings are just really old. Its probably worth it to pay several hundred dollars more per month for an updated/renovated unit. The mail center was super easy to access, and I never had issues with anything being stolen. It is a good thing they outfit the units with security packages though, because the area feels very unsafe. I fielded one scam in the form of a guy with an iPad claiming that something was out of date in my apartment and he needed to inspect it. I opened my door one day to find a couple of people rummaging through the dumpster and storing what they found in trash bags. Not something the complex can fixbut its just a bit of a rough neighborhood. Be sure to use common sense if you ever have people approach your door and try to come inside, and be aware of your surroundings. That being said, the staff always responded fairly quickly to maintenance requests or emails and dealt with these issues to the best of their ability. Huge thanks to Miguel and Gracie for overseeing my time here. They were always super helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with.
