This hospital is run by arrogant idiots. The only thing they cater to more than a donor to the school is looking like they know everything. Poor excuse for Healthcare And poor excuse for the medical field in general.

Staff at UVM are very rude, disrespectful and inefficient. You cannot even make a simple follow up appointment with your doctor. The staff at checkout tell you theyll call you to schedule. They dont. Months later they randomly input a date 6-10 months past the follow up date you discussed with your doctor. If you need a refill or any questions answered between appointments it is never accomplished on time. Messages never get to your doctor. Prescriptions lapse for months. If you call or use the portal nobody answers. My experience with the actual physician's has been good but many of the supportive staff are treating patients terribly. Their constant inefficiency puts patients at tremendous risk and there are never any repercussions.

Literally sat here for 10 plus hours, not being emitted, almost no nurses checked on us! No doctors came in here and checked on us! Everytime we asked what was happening we got attitude! I dont get how the nurses dont notice when someone is in a lot of pain or says they are in a-lot of pain. Took them about 4-5 hours for them to even give us pain meds! I have lived In Vermont my ENTIRE life and this is the worst hospital in the United States of America! The nurses here treat you like you dont deserve the help nor their services! Just messed up how they dont care about injured people at all! I wont ever be coming back here again, I personally think this hospital SHOULD shut down or make ALL OF THEIR STAFF go through school again! And school to teach you how to treat others the way you wanna be treated! By far the worst service Ive ever ever received!
