Apex Apartments

Apex Apartment is fantastically located. It's close to everything: bus stops (there are two within a 5-minutes walk), supermarkets (there is a Giant store just across the road), recreation centres (bike trail runs behind the apartment and a soccer pitch is just around the corner), metro station (a few bus stops away). The Apartment itself is nicely designed, spacious, and extremely well-priced. I visited a few apartments before choosing this one, don't think I found another complex that beats Apex in terms of dollar per square footage ratio! The only caveat - and this why I haven't given the complex a five star - is that the application process is ponderously slow and complicated. Because of it, I almost changed my mind about renting here. And I must add, every good thing you've read in the earlier reviews about Ms Brookes is accurate: she's fantastic! She communicated the reasons for the delay all through the long wait for my application to be approved, and she was very helpful with my move-in. Edit: 2 year into my lease, everything above remains true, but there is one more thing: some of the residents are messy and are perennial rule-breakers, despite the best efforts of the property managers to keep the property clean. Having to put up with such messy neighbours was quite annoying.

Trying to save the next person The apartment is low-income housing, which means you have to pay $220 ($120 = 3 PP * $40 + $100 for unit holding fee) and spend 4 hours in the office filling out a 30-sheet application by hand (stupid thing) after that You have to wait for 3 weeks until they start working on your application and then they start asking you for more papers and new bank statements for the new month and you have already given them 3 bank statements on the day of submitting the application that are required to be submitted. All this happened because they did not do their work on time. They make you wait without any positive results until the moving date in a week, and they make you look for another place and rent there, as I did, even though I informed them that I did not have time left on more than one occasion to determin my fate. Every time we find affordable apartments, we must p back. I did not understand how low income apartments and the apartment was 2bd 2 bd for $2200 without any utilities and just 1 parking pass only any even they dont have a pool or nothing special only roach everywhere Please understand that I only wish to save someone from the hell I went through. They steal The $100 apartment holding fee is non-refundable. Cause I cancel the application They make you look elsewhere to enjoy these fees

When we first moved into the community, it was like a breath of fresh air. But now I am on the opposite of the spectrum with how I view the community. I have 5 months left on my lease and I am praying for the days to speed by as fast as they can. Living around weed smokers, kids running through the hallways without parent supervision, and now mice jumping from my counter to stove ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I have complained to leasing, to corporate and have been told by Ms Brooks that they currently do not have a pest control company. DO NOT MOVE HERE. It looks amazing from the street and there's a fab shopping plaza across the street but thats not worth the headaches this property will give you.
