The Walrus and the Carpenter is a fun experience. I've heard it's a great place for oysters, so we needed to stop in. The restaurant is in the back of the address you go to, but isn't hard to find. It's on the smaller end, so expect to wait if it's busy. We came around 6 on a Saturday and luckily got a table right away. We got two of each of the seven oyster types they had, which were delicious. We also got the scallop and albacore crudo. The plates were small, but the flavors were delicious. We also shared a cheese plate, which was the same as the crudo plates, small but flavorful. My thinking is that you shouldn't come here if you're starving, but do come if you want some delicious food. Drinks were good as well. Well made. I didn't like the flavor of mine, which was a gin drink, but that was my fault for the poor choice for my tastes. Our only complaint was that the interior is loud. I felt like I had to shout at times to talk. Other than that, we had a great time. Parking: Paid parking lot next to the building and free street parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids can come. No kids menu, but if they can enjoy some seafood, they'll be fine.
