When I bought a new vehicle for my new job, I made them aware that my driving habits would be changing and that milewise may not be the best option for me. I went into the office to handle this. They insisted that I could not change my policy until it was up and then I could go to traditional insurance. I thought this would be ok because I was told milewise had a cap. No one said that cap was 250 miles. I ended up paying close to $700/month for car insurance until I caught the charges. The agent on the phone would giggle periodically during our conversation as if the situation was funny. They proposed that switching the policy at that point in time was ok and that it was always an option. They offered to switch me to a traditional plan that would be about $240/month. I went to another large scale insurance company and got the same coverage for $140 a month. They are unprofessional, couldnt calculate what Ive been paying and insisted that it would have been around $1600 for 6 months. How? My bank statements indicated I had already paid more than that over the previous 3 months. These people are unprofessional and unable to provide the correct information. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
