As a previous Renter of Towne House Apartments during the cold winter months, I would have to agree with David Jones that the owner Connie B Logan "is a lying cheat". My husband and I were renters there for 6 rough months. We paid a $300 pet fee (non-refundable) and a $300 deposit (refundable). She claimed that I had lied to her about our pets size, breed, and age after it was clearly stated in the lease agreement. We were then forced to pay an additional $500 pet deposit (refundable) in order to continue to rent there. In addition to dealing with our door freezing shut (all winter), cold rooms, leaking roofs (creating mold), cable being difficult, the lack of English speaking maintenance personal, Connie stole $300 from our deposit for "lying" about our pet. We left our room cleaner than we entered and no damages had been done. She will tell you a different story, but this is mine. The photos provided represent how our apartment was left. P.s Our neighbor was not please with them either for they had also taken his whole deposit for not moping the floor.

Landlord is racist drives around the apartments at all types of hours in the night... watching everything you do... you can’t have over night guest you HAVE to add them to your lease

I want to clarify some things regarding some of these reviews. "As a previous Renter of Towne House Apartments during the cold winter months, I would have to agree with David Jones that the owner Connie B Logan "is a lying cheat". She claimed that I had lied to her about our pets size, breed, and age after it was clearly stated in the lease agreement. This previous tenant who wrote this review is not being truthful with what she is saying. First and foremost all unit deposits are $300.00. Plus she had her pet fee which was $300.00 non refundable. The only extra she had to pay was $200.00 refundable to her pet deposit for her pet size which in total was a $300.00 refundable unit deposit and a $500.00 pet deposit .Which she got back all her deposit for the unit as well as the refundable pet deposit. We need to know what is going on on our properties to ensure our tenants are safe and make sure we do not have any persons on the property who shouldn't be. This tenant fell on hard times and we allowed her to use her deposit to cover her rent out of kindness. Nobody in this office are racist by any means, our staff is from all different cultures and backgrounds. This tenant also took advantage of the fact that they do not have to pay utilities and held a car wash in her parking stall, using water that she does not pay for and said we were racist because we turned the water off. "Management is friendly. However, I was there for a month. I got so sick of the screaming and fighting in the parking lot, as well as in rooms around me. Cops knocking on my door, etc. so I left. That's when management refused to give back $300 deposit. " This tenant did not notify us of the disturbances that were happening as well as not turn in a 30 day notice. That is a requirement in the land lord tenant book as well as stated in our lease. Everyone is entitles to there own opinions of the business but this is some true clarity on some of these reviews.

This previous tenant who wrote this review is not being truthful with what she is saying. First and foremost all unit deposits are $300.00. Plus she had her pet fee which was $300.00 non refundable. Yes we do watch the properties because they are OUR properties. We need to know what is going on on our properties to ensure our tenants are safe and make sure we do not have any persons on the property who shouldn't be.
