My daughter and I have been here just about a year now and we love our little cabin in the woods. Town is just a hop, skip, and a jump away and if we want to get out in nature, well we are surrounded by it!

These cabins are perfect for UAF students. Within a five minute drive of the campus, the cabins still manage to be very quiet and peaceful. The little animals that call the woods around the cabins home make it feel like a Disney movie! I love it :) Brian and Lisa are super sweet and helpful as well, and stuff gets fixed within a day or two of letting them know. I highly recommend these cabins to anyone I know who is looking for a quiet, peaceful, yet affordable place to call home.

I am super grateful for the opportunity to live at Diamond Willow Cottages for several reasons... 1) The landlords are super respectful of me as a person and seek to do their best to maintain the facilities and respond to legit concerns in a timely fashion. Believe me when I say we have some of the best snow plowing in our neighborhood. 2) Neighborhoods and the people that live in them can make or break and experience. The landlords are extremely intentional in signing contracts with honorable people to reside in their cabins. I have always felt safe in and amidst this little community of cabins. 3) On the perfect night, I sit outside and just watch the northern lights. I have have also been greeted by many beautiful animals while living here. Perhaps most profound were the lynx that woke me up one morning with their arguing.

Diamond Willow Cottages is a wonderful place to live. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The inside of the cabin is nicely finished and even our guest are complimentary of how good the outhouse looks. We thought we’d be here for 2 years but just signed our 4th years lease! If you’re looking for a dry cabin experience this is the place to be!
