Chris at South Bay Blinds came to my brand new back yard unit and and helped me figure out what kind of blinds would work best. We'd paid a lot for wood interior Milgard windows, and sliding glass door, and I was very tentative about blinds, because I didn't want to cover up my beautiful windows. Chris helped me figure out the best solution for showing off the windows. He was patient with me when I panicked about possibly having made a mistake, and he worked with me to reassure me that the option he'd helped me choose wouldn't hide my windows. When I panicked again, thinking that I should have chosen a different color, he was patient again, and encouraged me to get used to them for a few days before making a rash decision and spending a bunch of money ordering something else. Then his brother, Owen, was equally patient when he was ready to install the vertical blinds on the glass door and I panicked again, thinking that I regretted the color and that the measurements we'd chosen wouldn't look right in the space. Chris eventually convinced me to let Owen install them and, if I still didn't like them, we could figure out what to do next. But Chris was right, and the width we'd chosen worked well in the space, and the color looked good when they were all installed. In other words, I was an annoyingly difficult customer, but they never made me feel like I was. My only complaint was that I realized after I started using them that the vertical blinds were installed just a tiny fraction of an inch too low so that a couple of them skim the floor. For that reason, those two or three have to be manually arranged to hang perfectly. But I know from what they told me that they would be willing to come back and move them if I have any issue with the installation height, even if hadn't been their mistake, and that they would also repair the holes where the brackets are now. They even confirmed beforehand that I had some touch up paint for the holes, because they know how indecisive I am. It's such a minor issue, though, that I haven't bothered to even tell them about it, much less ask them to come back out to change it.

Pricing & customer treatment was very good. on schedule also.

I had to put a house on the market quickly. I had some missing blinds and some broken blinds. Devin came out and measured for everything (and fixed a few), and then about two weeks later the other guy came and installed them all. Easy peasy. I would hire them again.
