My first interaction in this office should have made me run out the door but I was desperate. The paralegal had a puppy in the office that would bite people . I have never seen a dog in a professional environment let alone one that was allowed to bite. As a previous review stated they will not include all of your debts in the bankruptcy. They left out a major creditor even though I listed it and when I found the issue I was told that it was too late. The only some what bright spot in his office is Lori. Coral has a very nonchalant attitude . His staff will tell you one thing and he will tell you another. The paralegals told me to look for a car and get an approval along with the monthly payments . When I spoke to him he told me to buy a cash car even though I had over a 45 minute comment for work and needed something reliable . He is also quite rude and doesn't offer will world solutions. If I had cash for a car I would have paid my debts instead of filling for bankruptcy. I paid off my bankruptcy the first week in June and it is September 20 and I still don't have my discharge. It is not until I followed up with them did the case start moving in a positive direction. They did not go over what has to happen for a case to discharge I had to call the courts and the trustee to piece together what is supposed to happen once the case is paid off. This would have been a prime opportunity for the paralegal to explain what was going to happen but because me calling was an inconvenience she just choose to be rude. One of the paralegals told me that even after I paid my bankruptcy that I would still owe money on my car which worried me to the point of just wanting to turn the car in even though in the bankruptcy it was almost paid off. Then I spoke to Lori and she told me that I would not owe anything else on the car. Please do your research before you choose this attorney . Consider using Upsolve and filling your bankruptcy without an attorney. If you do hire them make notes when talking with them to try to keep up with what is said because it will change from person to person and check to see if they actually included all of your debts.  I waited 4 years to write this review.

Making the decision to file bankruptcy was not an easy one to make. I had reached a low point financially and it was crippling me from being able to make good choices about how to take steps in a positive direction to recover from the financial disaster I had gotten myself into. My first interaction with Mr. Pytte's office was with Lori. She was AMAZING! She was welcoming, nurturing and made me feel completely at ease. I knew after meeting with her that I was not a bad person nor had any reason to feel ashamed at my situation. I was very nervous about my first meeting with Mr. Pytte. He was so incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate I found myself opening up to him without any hesitation. He was there to help guide and advise me and I am sure he doesn't know just how impactful he has been on my life. I am writing this review so that people who are feeling lost or as if there is no way things can get better financially will know that there IS a way and that way is John Pytte and his caring staff. Since my initial filing in 2014 I have learned to be far more budget mindful. I have hard limits that I learned I CAN and do stick to. It was not always easy especially in the first two years after filing. I ended up almost having my case dismissed for a missed payment but Lori and Mr. Pytte both were right there for me EVERY step of the way helping me get back on track. They never once abandoned me and I always felt like the door was always open no matter what. My life is significantly different today than it was 5 years ago. I can say with full confidence that with the help of Mr. Pytte and Lori that I learned to be more conscious and responsible about the choices I make. Today I am licensed insurance agent with a new career that is, so far, successful and getting better every day. I owe the positive changes and courage I got from the support at their office to Mr. Pytte and Lori because they treated me like a friend not just another client with an account number. They treated me like I mattered and showed me that they cared about the success of my case. My bankruptcy was discharged July 2019!! I have to tell you that I was so excited about it! I am STILL excited to be able to say "I did it!" And I learned that I can continue to be financially smart and not get myself into trouble again! It feels so good to have reached the discharge day!! But I will tell you something else, something that feels EVEN better!! I got a refund from overpayment about 2 weeks ago. That refund check is STILL in my purse! That I have not had to deposit it yet has made me feel SO amazing because I have learned how to save and budget and be more mindful that despite the fact that the refund is still a decent amount, I don't HAVE to have it today to get by. The feeling of independence that I have been able to achieve is something everyone should strive for. And if you need help getting over that rough period in your life, you MUST call on John Pytte's office and let him help you. You will not regret it. It will be the first step you make and the best decision that will help you move towards financial recovery and on to a better more secure life. Thank you Mr. Pytte and Lori for all you have done over the past 5 years!
