Budget Truck Rental

Rented and confirmed 26ft ft truck for a 1 way move. They sent me a confirmation two days before. Got there and was told they only had 16ft truck. Fee was only $10 less. We had movers paid to help… had to take the truck. Now we need to rent another truck this weekend and drive it up north and pay for another hotel etc. corporate said they would refund us $31.
They said THEY DONT GUARANTEE TRUCK SIZE. The mgr said corporate always confirms rentals for 26 ft trucks and they NEVER get one to them. They have have not had one on the lot for 6 months
They lied and said they called me .They did not. No message no evidence of phone calls and NO Email that would have given us an opportunity to rent something with someone else.

I am so angry at their blatant lies and deceptive practices

Had a reservation with this location for today, at 11:30 called to see if I could come sooner, and they said they canceled my reservation because they don't have any trucks. Swore they tried to contact me. Said they called and emailed. But when asked what my phone number was and what my email was they had typed them in wrong. I have had this reservation for over 3 weeks. Moving out of state and now I am frantically calling Uhaul praying they have a truck. Uhual may be a little more expensive, but just go with them from the jump. This headache isn't worth the little bit of savings.

I needed to return my rental truck after completing a cross country move. I called the location over 10 times to confirm the steps needed to drop off the truck. NO ANSWER, kept going to voicemail. The time for closing was getting close so I drove to the location. The doors were locked, they had closed early, and a gentleman was leaving the back parking lot with a baseball cap on (could have been an employee) looked right at me turned his head and rolled up his window!!!! They also do not do after hour drop offs so now I’m stuck with this truck and no where to park in my neighborhood. This is poor business and awful way to operate.
