My check up was okay but they made me come in for a secondary check on my contacts even though I've been wearing the same ones for 7 years. That was difficult with my busy schedule, but thankfully they have evening hours. My main problem with them was communication. Three weeks after being told I'd get a call two days later confirming my contacts order and I've still heard nothing.

My check up was very brief but okay. There's a lot to be desired with their customer service. I ordered my contacts and was told they would contact me when they were ready to be picked up. I called to check up on them and the associates told me they were ready. When I went in to get them, I waited for thirty minutes before I was acknowledged. Once the associate brought me the contacts, it ended up being just a single trial pair, even though I've been wearing the same contacts for several years. He told me would call me at a later time to resolve the issue. I called back a couple weeks later to see if my contacts had been ordered. They hadn't been. I ordered them, the associate said they would contact me when they were ready. Two weeks later I called back to see if they were in, it turns out there was delay, but they were there- I just hadn't been notified. Some of this confusion would have been more tolerable had the associates been more pleasant on the phone. Most of the time, I felt like I was an inconvenience to them. I will not be returning.

I recently went in to Spex because our dog ate my wife's eyeglasses. I mean totally destroyed the frames and one lens. She absolutely loved the frames, but they were difficult to find any more. Spex was able to regrind one of the lenses, and find and replace the frame. They did it all in less than a week. They did a great job. They were kind and professional. I will definitely be going back.
