Avis based out of Des Moines had great customer service and amazing vehicles for a fair price. I'll definitely be going through Avis the next time I need a rental vehicle.

Avis charged my credit card for 9,735 for a 24 hour rental or about 250 miles. They are awful. I will not rent from them ever.

Despite having a reservation, I had to wait nearly an hour after arriving at the desk for a car. I was told this was because all of the cars were being cleaned. Once I finally received my car, it was not in fact clean, the back window was covered in dirt and there was still some dirt on the hood as well.
