My mother who is single living off retirement income ordered windows for her house and is experiencing what others have posted. Took her deposit, No return phone calls, No installation. She too would like her deposit back but has not received a call back after leaving several message. You hope a local business does not take advantage of people and will do the right thing and return her deposit.

It took 7 months to get our windows installed. My husband and I called the owner and our salesman many times to check the status. Mike Sweeney, the owner, committed suicide on November 13, 2019. Mike McKnight from Channel 6 has lengthy article about Energy Armor. There is a lot of missing money and many orders that were never placed.

Do not use this Company. Buyer Beware. After order windows in April 2019 we were excited to have new windows in our old farmhouse. My wife and I are both military veterans and we both deployed to Iraq. Matt, who no longer works there, had us feeling confident in the Company would treat us right. Fast forward to now, Energy Armor has missed 4 different appointments to install the windows, one in August, October and 2 this month in November. Mike promised to mail us back our $6,000 down payment back. Unfortunately, Mike, the owner, has shut off his cell phone. The office voicemail is constantly full and no one ever calls us back. We are afraid we have lost our down payment and now exploring options in hiring a lawyer just to get our money back. Extremely disappointing and gut wrenching to be treated like this by a business.
