Omaha Transmission

When we took our 2004 SUV into a local auto shop to have the transmission looked at, I suspected we were going to have to take it to a transmission service shop, so I proactively started calling some of the local places. I called one of Omaha Transmission's competitors at least twice, and could never reach anyone to even speak with. The first time I called Omaha Transmission, someone picked up the phone, and within a couple minutes I was discussing the issue with someone on their staff. At that moment I decided Omaha Transmission was where I was taking the vehicle if it needed it, which it did as it ended up requiring a transmission rebuild. While they weren't able to schedule the work right away, they were able to give us a full week's advance notice, giving my wife and me enough time to arrange a rental car to drive during the repair. And while the job ended up being delayed due to a parts supply issue outside of their control, Nick was great in keeping me regularly informed on status, and he even contacted the part vendor twice to have them track the shipment and its ETA for Omaha delivery. They picked up the phone and answered my questions EVERY time that I called, and in the end got our vehicle's transmission back to where it needed to be. Plus, they also spotted an axle that needed replaced and only charged the cost of the part to complete the work. Between this an another place this was the only place that would do a drain and fill on a 6F35 using a Mercon type fluid. I had one company I called literally tell me I would never find someone in town to do an easy process like a drain an fill because it was too much of a hassle and its all done by machines now. Guess they were wrong as this is a great company, fair prices and will be back every 30,000 from here on out for drain and fills. Transmission feels so much better. Service: Transmission
