Jersey City Movers

Terrible experience. I was quoted at 480 then the movers took 3.5 hours to make a 30min trip and tried to charge me for it. I argued with the "boss" for over an hour on the phone while my possessions were held for ransom while he tried to charge me over 1000... I talked him down to 850 to leave my possessions downstairs and I had to make other arrangements. In addition, eventhough they used furniture blankets, some of my furniture was scratched. DO NOT USE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS! You have been warned, go with a reputable company you're not going to save with these scammers.

If i could give them zero stars, i would. I was initially sent a quote of $250 via text to move a small 1 bedroom apt 4 block. Then i was called and given a quote of $350, which i agreed to. The day of moving, they were 2 hours late, and i had to call them to find out if they were even coming. When they showed up, they told me the cost would be $727. I was upset because that was more than double what i was quoted, but i was at their mercy and wouldn't be able to find another mover within minutes. I had friends that had double the amount of stuff, moving towns away, and they paid LESS. I was moving 4 blocks, and my new building has an elevator. When i looked at the receipt after, they put that i didn't have an elevator. I would never use them again, and I've warned people about this corrupt company.
