DON'T waste your time there. If there was 0 stars that would be what my experience was there. Unprofessional and rude. Lack of communication. Look elsewhere if you need to get help especially professional help. They raised there voices and talked back to me. They only have one counselor Apparently and tell you different things from one appointment to the next. Don't waste your time. Unqualified.

Mary Blankenship as a practitioner of medicine, displays a level of concern that seems to be missing in medicine these days. My mom's 79, and most clinicians write off older people. They don't try to find out what's wrong them, they just attribute everything to age , Mary is different, I genuinely think she wants to heal people and it shows in her, and in her staff.

Went in for follow up, ended up establishing care there. Love the fact that my medical and mental health care needs can be met in one place. Highly recommend them

My entire experience with Viva has been a mess. Ive been trying to get help with my antidepressant medications for a long time now and I was so excited to finally squeeze in an appointment. They rescheduled me 3 times in a week and then when I went in for it, I even showed up early. They told me 10 minutes after my scheduled time that it may take an extra 30 minutes and asked if I could wait. I explained that I wasnt very happy with it as Ive had to bend for them three times already and her response was yeah, stuff happens. No apology or empathy. I told them I just needed my prescription filled because I am out of my anti depressants. I was shocked when they didnt care about the urgency and dangers of running out of those kinds of medications. She said can you at least wait 10 minutes? And I said will he be ready for me in 10 minutes? Her response was I dont know. Maybe 10, maybe 30. I had to get my copay refunded and leave, once again without my medications.

Do not see Tamba Calfee under any circumstances. I went in for depression that I've been struggling with for almost a year. Tamba did my intake on my first appointment, getting info on my symptoms and asking if I've taken medication prior or am currently on any. She made it clear that I would get medication right away based on my intake. After that I told her about my family members' mental illnesses causing them to have financial and housing issues, and she starts trying to tell me how they should be getting care. I keep trying to interject and tell her they are already getting the things she is suggesting and try to refocus the conversation, but she ignores me and keeps focusing on their treatment entirely. She then starts trying to pry out who their health providers and medication managers are... things she shouldn't be asking. Asks nothing about me the rest of the session and dismisses me flippantly at the end. Fast forward to next session. I get there on time and Tamba sees me late, receptionist has to check if she has left for the day. When I sit down she asks me all the questions she did last time, as if she doesn't have my intake notes from last time. Finally I get to tell her one thing I'm struggling with currently and she proceeds to spend the next 20min talking about her life, her job interviews, her friends, her old coworkers she didn't like that got promoted before her. All this time asking me absolutely nothing or providing me anything useful. She is using profanity and saying very vulgar things about people during this. Then I mention I am trying to socialize but find it hard to make close friends, this time she spends another 15min talking about a patient she doesn't like! Mocking him and calling him a crybaby, saying she doesn't want to see idiots, etc. And then she starts telling me his whole life story- why he's going to therapy, his age range, number of kids, his ethnicity and appearance, his jobs, his relationship status. Enough info that I could probably find the guy online if I tried, serious PII and HIPAA violation. After her long rant she says 'well let me know how your family is next time'. Uhhh, what? I haven't even gotten to talk to her about anything for 90% of the time and she is ending the session 10min early after she saw me late, with no mention of medication either. Absolutely terrible professionalism and services, I felt like I was her therapist listening to her problems... Apparently Tamba is the only staff providing therapy at this time too which leaves me no other options at this clinic. I will not be returning obviously, but let my bad experience save you from one.
