I had to use This facility on a Sunday morning relatively early and The Staff was EXCELLENT, from the front desk Staff to the Triage Nurse. Also the facility was extremely clean. The wait time was a little over an hour but well worth it to be seen on a Sunday and not have to wait in an ER environment for hours Thank you Staff of PresNow on Isleta keep up the good work

Recently had a disheartening experience with a visit to this facility. I went in with a plethora of symptoms: throat pain, Globus sensation in throat, belching, sharp stomach pain, cough, constant throat clearing, postnasal drip. All symptoms of the acid reflux I have been dealing with for years. I had a flareup of these symptoms for about a week, then I woke up One morning with blood in my stool, chest pain, shortness of breath, and difficulty swallowing. I went to this facility and was seen by Joseph Pillar. He took one look at me and said, you dont look like you need an actual room in the emergency services so what would you like me to do for you today? I told him I would like any kind of test to make sure that Im OK especially with these new alarming symptoms. He told me that there is limited testing that he could do and that I would have to go to my Gastro to get additional testing. I would have done so if I wasnt in between insurances and trying to get seen by a new primary care Doctor Who is booked out for another two months. In the meantime, while I was telling him my long list of symptoms, he cut in to say that it sounds like I may have anxiety because thats so common nowadays I told him that is not the case, I have been to many Gastros and ENTs who gave me actual diagnosis. One of the test that he did offer was a blood test a test and when he mentioned it, I told him that a blood test is a good idea because the last time I had my period, I almost passed out from the cramping, I lost feeling in all of my limbs, lost my hearing and vision, and had nausea and vomiting, and maybe it was due to my blood loss, he then specified, that sounds like a panic attack he dismissed every single one of my symptoms as anxiety or panic. In a last stitch effort, he sent me home with an already overly prescribed medication for my acid reflux that I told him I had been dealing with for years, (not that he checked himself or looked into my reflux symptoms) He then referred me to a Gastro who my insurance is not in network with , therefore, I have to wait two months to see my primary care doctor before I could even get an appointment with a specialist of any kind. I thought at minimum there would be more testing for something that 10/10 people would say were very alarming symptoms. I guess you have to have your guts in a bucket next to you for anyone to take you seriously or do any additional testing
