Candlewood Suites New York City Times Square

Roach infestation on a scale I’ve never seen. Last night we attempted to stay here. Upon returning to the room and getting ready for bed, we turned the lights on to find cockroaches EVERYWHERE. They were on the countertops, the walls, sinks, the bed, and more. We had to immediately get out of the room shake our stuff out to find some of them made it into our belongings as well. The front desk told us we were the 5th group leaving the hotel with roach infestation and they had nowhere else to accommodate us leaving us with nowhere to sleep and had to just head back home that night without ever sleeping and had to cancel all of our plans for Sunday.

Great place! Friendly staff. Right in walking distance of everything in Times Square! Would definitely go back here for a future trip!

The parking they advertise is blocks away and they expect you to bring your car and walk 8-10 minutes vacation to the hotel. I paid for a City view and they put me on the 25th floor looking at the hotel across the street. I contacted them and sent a few emails regarding my dissatisfaction and I was offered a menial $50 back on a $600 room that really wasn't that nice. When replied I wasn't happy the manager never had the decency to return my emails. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER AGAIN!!!

I jus checked in. I don’t think I should waste any time writing this review also. But pls don’t book in this hotel for any reason. The WiFi is horrible Every time u enter the hotel , the hotel person will have to open ur door It’s totally horrible in all other aspects. I have been in Manhattan for last 6 months in diff hotel but never had such experience that too after checking with an horrible WiFi and pathetic tv with blurred channels.
