Once you realise that the place is a hostel it's quite nice. You arent going to find a place this cheap in NYC. We had air conditioning and the cots are pretty comfortable. The place smelled like it was just disinfected or sprayed with insecticide which is much better than having germs or bugs and went away with a quick spray of air freshener. The shared shower and bathrooms were tiny and the rooms are small as well but YOU'RE IN NYC and walking distance from fun of every kind. We didn't have towels in our room but we came prepared. No tv or phone in the room but we have our smartphones for entertainment.
