I’ve been getting quick pedis here for years and the quality and service are fine for the price, but I’m so disappointed with my gel manicure. It’s only hours old but appears a week old because the technician did not paint back to the cuticle. I’m leaving for big trip tomorrow so have to live with it for a week, or as long as I can stand it. Services: Gel manicure, Pedicures

Extremely rude. I could clearly tell they were gossiping about me and rude. They were so rude, it ruined the whole experience. I did not want to tip but I still gave 10%. The lady was extremely angry and talking in Vietnamese to the other nail tech who also pointed at the tip amount and they kept talking in Vietnamese without telling me anything to my face. Then they asked me to round up or down. I was angry and rounded down. And I normally always tip very well so I felt bad doing that but I just did not want to tip well after they were soooo rude. This was just a horrible experience.

This place is now called 128 Modern Nail. It's been that name even prior to the pandemic.
I've been to this nail salon a few times.
It's definitely a so-so place to get your nails done.
I generally bring my own nail polish. This salon charges different prices for name brand polish. The quality is poor because they constantly add acetone to the polish when its drying. So i just bring my own.
The prices are really reasonable. It's generally quick service but it can get filled fast. There has been times when the wait was 20+mins and i ended up not waiting. This isn't a place that's really good with designs. Your better off with a solid color or french mani.
I recently visited since the pandemic began. I just wanted to get a pedicure. No one was in there. It was only two ladies sitting by the pedicure seats. As soon as i walked in, one of them immediately jumped up to service me.
I used the bathroom as soon as i came in. It was really clean and also services as their storage.
My pedicure was pretty quick. She did a pretty good job of making it comfortable. She trimmed, filed them, took care if the cuticles, etc. However, the execution wasn't the best. When painting my nails she was a little sloppy. She also didnt lotion my feet afterwards so my toe had nail polish and dryness on it right after a pedicure. It looked sloppy.
As i mentioned, I've been here a few times and its almost always like this. I paid $23 for the pedi so it's not so bad i guess.
