I signed the lease at the last notice because my friend bailed on me and went live with her bf. I had a good time living there, the amenity workers are nice. But YES, the will charge you a $500 bill for repainting the wall that DOESN"T EXIST. I paid for the worry-free clean out which they helped me clean the room after I moved and apparently their cleaning workers DON"T BOTHER to wipe that little freaking stain in the wall. Rather, they decided to charge me a monster bill for repainting the whole wall?

Its been horrible experience living here. This place is an utter dissapointment. Apart from good floor plans and location, this place has nothing to offer. After arriving I have had issues with the washer, bathtub (the rod keeps falling on ones head), toilet flush doesn’t work. Maintenance is rarely available. I had to call the office requesting them to send someone. Their excuse, maintenance is attending more urgent issue! For heaven sake, hire more people if you can’t attend to current residents issues. In addition, the staff on emergency maintenance is extremely rude. Sincerely would request people not to consider this place.

It seems like the staff (Summer Bush and Heather Johnson) are more responsive to honest online reviews of their management as opposed to actually answering calls. I’ve called over ten times today, not one answer. Their tactic to silence people who want to dispute their baseless moving out charges is to not take any calls, only emails, and they will only answer after October 1, 2021. You mean 3 months after I moved out? Those two obstacles definitely ensure students who do not know how to navigate this frustrating, dishonest renting system won’t dispute anything further. I’m attaching pictures of how they will charge you unfounded fees for their corporate greed. I’m also attaching pictures of how they allowed me to move in to this apartment without first cleaning it. Whether this was a lease transfer or year long lease doesn’t matter, they gave me this apartment in a terrible condition. From Austin Tenant Council: “However, if the tenant moves out of an apartment leaving it in the same condition as when the tenant moved in, except for normal wear and tear, and no money is owed the landlord, the tenant should get all of the deposit back.â€
