Lots of traffic noise (though thankfully little noise from the hallway or adjacent elevators). Bathroom had old tile and old fixtures with cracked caulk that didn't live up to the Marriott reputation.
Basic amenities available at most other motels are restricted to rewards program members.

Came for an enjoyable spring break with my family and this hotel was the worst we couldve selected, especially for the price.
The staff doesnt seem to properly communicate so if youre offered any upgrade at check in Id ask for it in writing! The staff made our stay stressful with so much back and forth on what we were offered at check in vs. what we were able to actually get/do. Every time I attempted to take advantage of our upgrade there was an issue where I had to speak to a manager; which I got a new one each time!
On top of that the hotel rooms are so small and outdated. The beds arent even queen size, theyre full and the pool and pool area were dirty.
This stay offered a great location but it honestly wasnt worth the price when we couldve stayed 2 exits up at a nicer hotel for the same price.

A very run down Marriott with few services. Feels more like an economy class hotel than a standard class one. The rooms are very outdated, with worn out rugs, furniture and tilework. All the uphostery in my room was stained and had grease marks on arm rests from overuse. When I asked for a new armchair because they one in my room is "unsittable" - stains everwhere and a brown smear ( I hope it was chocolate) on the seat -- they just flipped over the cushion and left the stained chari.

We came here for a wedding close by.
We're frequent Marriott visitors and have been because we have certain expectations, and so far, Marriott/Bonvoy has met them for us.
I am always so happy to be able to say that this stay exceeded our expectations.
Ryan at the front desk was so courteous, professional, and just a pleasure to talk to.
Ryan met all our needs and gave us pertinent information regarding what is going on around us in terms of the rodeo, shuttle service, and restaurants/shopping nearby.
The room was clean, nice seize, honestly great price.
I could not have been happier with the stay.
I love breakfast in hotels. My husband likes to sleep in.
This location, with its full kitchen, has a full breakfast, either buffet or made or order.
There is an extra charge, but if you like breakfast, it is worth it. There is a full coffee station included in your breakfast.
Good time all-round.
Rooms: Very nice rooms.
Indoor pool, great gym, super fun bar with great staff, conference room, and center for business/social events.
Nearby activities: The Galleria Mall, several areas full of Houstons great restaurants.
Food & drinks: There are too many to list! Anything you want is close by.
Noteworthy details: The staff, I know that's what people say, but this staff was just absolutely 100% great.
