    UPDATE 03/23/24. -> DO NOT COME TO LIVE HERE. Unfortunately, I am editing my review today at 2 am because a dog in distress barking & crying continuously during the day & night from the next apartment doesn't allow us to sleep. I have sent more than four emails to the management team to handle this and went to their office more than six times in the last three months for the same problem and NOTHING has been done about this. I have had neighborhoods with dogs but nothing like this. Something is happening with this dog and nobody does something! We understand that this is a pet-friendly building but when a situation like this escalates disturbing your mental health and interfering with your sleep it is not worth living in a place like this, where they say they care about the well-being of their residents, but they do not care at all. We are not asking for special treatment, we are asking what is fair: a peaceful place to sleep where you are paying for. ______________ I have been living at the Sur since June 2022. Since then, our experience has been great. The management team has always been available for us to answer our concerns. I will do this review from my own humble experience living here: - The maintenance team has been helpful each time we needed it (especially Nabin, who is beyond kind!), and the cleaning team keeps the amenities in the building always tidy (they are also kind and friendly!) - The concierge has been there when need it, and the free coffee machine downstairs is full of coffee and functioning while working in the conference room or downstairs. - When we have had problems with people smoking in the building areas, the management team has taken action. - The call box on the doors didnt work before we signed our contract, so we knew beforehand what we signed for. Sometimes, the Bluetooth-powered from one or two entries are not working, but I have five doors to enter the building while they fix the problem. - Furthermore, the team management has been very considerate of us. I planned my wedding reception on the rooftop for four months ahead and they assisted me with a few things. Unfortunately, 5 days before my wedding date my fiancee had a stroke, and the management team not only return the money but also was there with flowers, kind words, and help for us. This says a lot about an empathetic management team. We are renewing this year our lease with them. To be fair, as you read it, for us has been more the advantages rather than the disadvantages of living here. Additionally, the trails around to run and bike, the new metro station, the supermarket within walking distance, and the large shopping complex within 10 minutes walking from the building are enough for what we need to live at The Sur.
