Travelers

Received a letter stating my home owners policy has been canceled because my property is located in an area with a greater than average brushfire exposure. The property is located in a neighborhood with no brush for miles. If their brush mapping was correct all of Spokane would not qualify for insurance. Have not bee able to contact a Travelers presentative who is either understanding or is willing to investigate.

I worked for Travelers for 13yrs. Never particularly liked it but it was weekends off and decent pay. I was let go because I’m not a good robot and told I was not fast enough. Whatever. I think they are better to their customers than their employees. So I recommend their insurance but not so sure about being an employee.

Got a notice that policies wouldn’t be canceled due to the pandemic if you’re not able to pay. As a non essential, I was not able to pay. Policy was canceled. They demanded almost $1000 to reinstate me. So I gave them ALL my money because I did not know what else to do. I talked to a supervisor who apologized and said that it was a mistake and that I should not have been canceled. Shoot to the next month. Canceled. I reach out to travelers on Facebook after they were very responsive with my first issue. Now I can see that they read all of my messages and refuse to respond. I’m beyond disgusted with the treatment of your customers especially during this challenging time. I’ll be switching my policy to allstate and I can not do it quickly enough. Your service is not only poor but completely offensive. I’ll be posting more about this to my social media outlets.
