Jonas was a pleasure to work with. Estate planning is tricky business because there are significant consequences to many of the decisions that derive from the conversations regarding the planning. My estate was rather small but I felt he gave me all the time and attention that was required. I paid in advance for his services as required by his firm so there was an inherent fear of not receiving what was needed.Jonas put that concern very quickly to rest with his demeanor and obvious competence He was easy to reach and responsive to my questions without judgements or condensation. If I should happen to have a question on a legal matter in the future, i would actually look forward without hesitation to calling him for advice. I had seen Mr Hemenway work with another family who was in crisis while being stuck in the middle of the red tape with the very "saftey net"/ entities we think are there to help and support our loved ones and I was amazed at his professionalism, honesty and work then. Now that I have had the pleasure of working with him directly I feel nothing I could say is enough to describe how phenomenal he is. Jonas not only made time in his day to address an urgent issue for a new client, he listened patiently and asked questions about important things I was not thinking about at the time; so the situation could be examined thoroughly and steps forward could be taken realistically, even if it means there is nothing we can do. And he was so very kind as well!
