Motel 6 Charleston East WV

I know the rooms not going to be extravagant for the money, but a tv that plays without static is not asking too much, hot water was never heard of in my room and the bed spreads were horrible. They spent the night on the floor. Bathroom door was broken the door coming in the room opened when it wanted too. This place is in need of a major makeover and needs updating and I’m being nice. I would not recommend to anyone EVER!!

Easy on and off the highway for travelers. Clean room, reasonable rates, accommodating staff. Easy access to food and fuel nearby (although I was disappointed the brewpub wasn't open the day I stayed--but you guys can't control that).

Worst experience ever. Ever since I was in the military, I have always stayed with Motel 6. This will no longer be the case. I checked in while half way into a cross country move. It was around 8 in the evening. I was taking some of my stuff in and went back out to grab some more luggage only to find a man looking into the back of my car. I notified the front desk and they told me they were not liable for damage or theft to cars but they would call the cops. I waited in my car for 30 minutes and the cops never came. I grabbed my stuff from the room and returned my room keys. They front desk told me they would not refund my money and there was nothing they could do. I felt unsafe and will never again stay with Motel 6. I have been a customer for over 10 years, but after having to pay for a room I didn’t even stay in and then pay for a room over an hour a way I am done giving this company my business.
