Nice, big rooms. The hotel is very clean and new looking. A bit pricey but this area is up and coming.

I stayed at the Springhill Suites in Winter Park for business a couple of weekends ago. I dont remember the last time I stayed at a Springhill Suites, so I was a bit hesitant & honestly I wasnt expecting much in the way of accommodations. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, the breakfast area was kept clean & stocked frequently & its staff was very good. In fact all the staff members, I encountered during my stay were friendly. But, what was most impressive was the front desk clerk, Kenneth. He was simply just delightful. Impeccably dressed & very professional. Always greeted me & others as we walked into the hotel. Very friendly & just an all around pleasure to see after spending all day in meetings. In the past 22 years, I have stayed in thousands of hotels from Motel 6 to the Ritz-Carlton both for work & personal. In all my travels, Kenneth has been by far the friendliest front desk personnel I have had the pleasure of encountering. The hospitality business is not what it used to be. It definitely needs to get back to having employees who really are the face of the company. To strive to be friendly, professional & just all around accommodating towards guests. Kenneth was a refreshing change from what I usually encounter while traveling. Thank you, for such a lovely stay. Nearby activities: The main road is filled with restaurants & shopping. Within walking distance or at least a short drive from the hotel. Safety: Very well lit area. Accommodating parking area. Close to entrance. Walkability: Within walking distance from shopping & eating. Food & drinks: Its Winter Park. A lovely city with lots of restaurants, bars & shopping. & its all very close to this hotel.
