MWI Fiber Shield

Richard arrived today promptly to clean my sectional.  He was extremely professional and got the stain out promptly.  I have used Fiber Shield many times as they protected a few pieces of furniture for me.  It is so worth the investment as they always come out and have never failed to get out whatever stain my children or pet has created.  I recommend them highly.

Save your money! Giant rip off! Charges are outrageous !  It takes them about 10 minutes to apply the stuff so labor costs are nill and very little solution is required. They tell you you're paying for their incredible service of being able to call them anytime to clean up an emergency.  They do  tell you up the front product doesn't cover any type of pet stain or bodily fluids. But they say that you can call anytime and they will come out immediately and clean up those types of  stains for an additional fee. Well I called on a Sunday and of course there was no one there. So we blotted and applied some powder they gave us. We were told not to attempt to clean it ourselves. We then had to wait 24 hrs for them to show up. By that time the stains were pretty well set and after an additional fee of $150. they cleaned with just water and a mild cleaner. The stain remained and we were told that's the best they could do. I feel I paid a pile of money for nothing.  I could have cleaned it myself with water and a mild cleaner  sooner and might have saved my rug.

I would not recommend this company. Years ago, I was charged a signifcant amount of money to protect my upholstered kitchen chairs and was told most stains were removed for free. When stains did appear, I was charged another $480 for cleaning and was told this was part of routine maintenance. I contacted the company again about additional stains and they rescheduled the appointment several times causing me to have to shift my work schedule. Before hiring another company altogether, I decided to give MWI Fibershield a chance to address my complaints. I spoke to an employee and asked to have the owner call me back. I never received a call.
