The Kelly Birmingham, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Booked a room at the last minute, so we got the favorable same-day rate. That said, the place was very nice. Pleasant reception experience, nice quiet toom (we could hear a nearby train, but I like trains), and good black out curtains. Nice eateries nearby, and not too far from the interstate (if you're passing through). Would definitely go back.

Great location next to lots of things to do/see/eat/drink. Cute vibe! Rooms are boutique style. Huge bathrooms.

Beautiful hotel with many walkable restaurants and bars nearby. The service was generally good, although the bell / valet employees exited their car smelling like MJ - not helpful and no way they were going to park my car.

This was a disappointing stay - 1) The shower wasnt cleaned and had random hairs on the walls 2) There was no conditioner in the bottle in the shower 3) There was no hand soap in the bathroom 4) The AC/Heating system did not work - after blowing ineffectually for 1-2 hours, it would turn itself off 5) The tv was broken - the top third did not have color / was in black and white Honestly expect a lot better from a Hilton. The front desk said a manager would call, but nobody ever did. I would not return - it would be a gamble if your room is clean and has working amenities. Rooms: The room was dirty, the AC was broken, the TV was broken, and the shower was dirty. It was also missing key supplies - such as conditioner and hand soap - and the towels were mismatched and worn out.
