Inspite of the other reviews! This location was amazing!! The staff was so professional and courteous!! Front Desk Attendant Keia(Keke) was by far very knowledgeable about the area and encouraged my family to stay and enjoy the Amenities! Also, The Bar after 7pm was amazing and clean and safe and great drinks and Bartender. The Breakfast Buffet was $15 hot items and grab and Go fresh fruit. Even the House Keeper was amazing. My Family battles with Seasonal Allergies and the Chamomile Tea was the healing agent!! And construction doesn't stop a great Time it shows me the Customer that enhancements and Upgrades are important to the company!!

I shouldve listened to the reviews and went somewhere else. I was trying to give Doubletree/Hilton the benefit of the doubt and stay there despite the negative reviews. When booking there was no indication or information that there would be construction going on at the hotel, I found that out when I arrived and unfortunately it was too late to cancel my reservation that I had booked for the entire week. I checked in the staff was nice and they assured me the room wouldnt reflect the construction going on. So I get to my room and at first glance I thought I was ok until I entered the bathroom. The bathroom was not clean and the shower was full of mold and buildup. I immediately let the front desk know and was informed that there was nothing that could be done as they were working with limited rooms due to the construction. So I had to stay here with this filthy bathroom. I took it upon myself to go out and buy cleaning supplies to at least sanitize the bathroom and shower, I spent an extra $40 on cleaning supplies. I did not book a hotel to have to clean it myself. This is beyond ridiculous for a hotel that cost me over $1,000 for this stay. And about the price, my reservation was only supposed to cost $1,076 but my card was charged $1,251, this is insane for the condition of the room. As a Hilton honors member who frequents Hilton Hotels, I am highly disappointed. i shouldve trusted the reviews. I hope that they get this location turned around because I have another trip to Huntsville planned later this year and Im not planning on staying at this location after what I experienced. The cookies were good but otherwise this place did not live up to the Doubletree name. The whole place had a weird smell which was worse in our room. Finding someone else's hot pink underwear under a desk did not help the overall vibe. Staff was cold and distant. Significantly overpriced for what we got.

Although undergoing renovations ( as of Mar 2024) it is very clean, and comfortable. As we were coming in with the luggage we were discussing the possible location of the elevators. Without asking a staff member promptly stopped and pointed out where the elevator most convenient to our room was located. We are in a 2 room King. We will definitely make this our go to when coming back to Huntsville.
