Just stopped by this morning to open a new checking account. I was kindly told that they didn't have time today and that I would need to make an appointment and come back later. I left the bank with a card to make an appointment. I was a little shocked to be honest. I've never been told by a bank that I needed to come back to open a new account. Usually they are all about getting a new customer. I used the scheduling function an hour later and found that I could make an appointment for two hours after I left. Not the worst customer service, but also not great. Not sure that I will go back. Currently exploring Northrim and First National Bank of Alaska.

Customer service here saved my life.
I was supposed to take a flight but had problems with my ATM. They went out of their way and beyond to actually walked up to ATM with me just to test it out.
There was a black teller and a white guy sitting on his desk with beard on the right hand side of the branch when you walk in.
They were just awesome.
I was actually thinking about getting rid of Wellsfargo account but those two changed my mind.
My visit was around 2:15pm,Thursday, 8/10/23.
Sorry I forgot your names but awesome job and thank you very much.

Called Wells Fargo and spoke to a representative named Ashley, suggest cutting the attitude. If you hate your job so much, leave? I expect great customer service when I speak to a customer service representative.
