Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Glendale Sports & Entertainment District

There are a lot of choices to stay at in this area. Unfortunately, This is one of the worst. I have been staying at Marriot brands across the country for over 20 years and this particular property has the worst customer service. I was trying to rectify a situation with them charging me for a stay that I didn't setup nor did I stay there. The room was booked in error for the wrong night. The supervisor told me, "too bad, we cannot help you with this situation and there is nobody here that will help you because I have already let all the managers know. This was a premium week." All I asked her to do is give me credit towards an up coming stay for 3 nights. I don't normally complain, but this individual handled this situation completely wrong. My wife keeps pushing me to stay at her IHG hotel brands and this just might push me over the edge.

Cleanes are so polite. They leave the rooms so pretty. Dont want to mess up the beds. Front desk personnel are always smiling. Had to go through physical therapy while I was here . Staff were very accommodating to my recovery. Nearby activities: Walked around Westgate and Tanger outlet. Weather perfect for staying out side. Walkability: Clean and wide sidewalks. Near my favorite cracker barrel restaurant.

The staff was very courteous. I locked myself out of my room and they gave me another key after verifying my identity. They fixed issues that I reported. The rooms were not very sound proof and the heavy doors slammed loudly. The room was clean and spacious. They served a good breakfast. The gym was in the hotel next door which seems odd, but worked.

Was there for the past week. Overall our stay was fine but we had to ask for shower soap, as it was empty. And the kleenex ran out by the second day. I swear there was only like 5 tissue in there and they never replaced. They also did not take out kitchen trash. We only had housekeeping come in once, mid week so I just would have hoped they would have done a better job. But location was great. An abundance of shops, restaurants and things to do, close by!
