Had a few chuckles at how millennial/gen x this place is. But it's got some serious perks. I was skeptical at first of the need to reserve beds at the pool as a hotel guest but the reception on 2nd day explained guests can take any unreserved beds. The pool is really pleasant. Music a bit loud but normal i suppose. The hotel rooms were very well equipped - bed was comfortable and linens and towels of good quality. Location was perfect for us to get to nearby restaurants and events. It's right on the main street but noise isn't too terrible. The balcony overlooking pool was lovely. Staff were professional and helpful. The pool food also wasn't too bad. Think my favorite was cartel coffee right on property.

I went in person to put in for a job. The lady that helped me I talked to was very rude. I just thought ok she must be having a bad day.knowing we all have them. So I put in for the job me and her talked about. About a week goes by. And the lady that called. Wow.that was one call that made me think if they ate talking and acting like this on the phone I can't imagine how they are with a guest in person. The phone interview was as fallow l. (She called me. I say hello. She ask if this Zach. I said yes this is. She said ok. Tell me why you want to be here. I then ask do you mean why I want to work there. She says yeah. What do you think. I then just told her why. She then ask. Tell me about your experiences. I then ask like my work experiences. She the said yeah daa. I then told her I put in for to different positions. And then tell my experiences with both positions. She then said yeah ok. I fill call you if we want to move you to the next step. Then hung up.) I was so confused. On what that a phone interview or just someone messing with me. I had to look up the phone number just to see who called me. And hall honesty I hope I don't get a call back. Because if that is how she talked to me like that then I would hate to see how they talk and treat guest that are staying there.

I stayed at Rise Uptown for three nights. The rooms were trendy and well decorated; we got to see a room in both buildings. When we arrived, the facility was experiencing an unfortunate wifi interruption, but the staff was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. They were hoofing it working really hard to compensate, and their effort was noticed. The facility, rooms, and staff were all great, and located next door to some great bars and restaurants. The location was convenient to quite a bit in the Phoenix area. Please note, they have instituted a nightly $30 Experience Fee that covers your parking and wifi, among a couple other perks. If you dont care much about these (theres a shopping center one block away if youd rather park yourself), be sure to tell them upon check-in youd like to opt out and wont be using the services included in the fee. The rooftop bar was lovely and the views are top-notch. Absolutely loved the plants and landscaping; very well done. We didnt use the pool area, but it looked nice. Rise Uptown is a great option if youll be on-site a lot.

Hi Zachary, sounds like a strange phone interview. You may have the wrong location that you are reviewing as we do all of our interviews in person. Good luck in your job search and hope you finds something that fits.
