The Abbé House Inn

I was looking for a spot to stay at that would be a little more interesting than a standard hotel on our trip back from Galveston to home. It's always a bummer driving the long road back from a fun vacation so I wanted to find somewhere memorable. I believe this did the job. The place had character and I enjoyed the scenic area on the drive in and out. Maybe someday we'll schedule more time here so we can take in the local fishing and hiking as this whole area looks very beautiful. The breakfast was great. We got plenty to eat and the hosts were very nice and interested in what we were up to. This is the experience I hope for with a bed and breakfast.

So enjoyed our stays there! Only difficulty is no walk in showers. It is very hard for me to get into a shower/tub. Maybe handles until they are able to remodel? Otherwise, great owners great breakfast!!!

We had a wedding , had 9 of the 10 bedrooms for our event. It was wonderful Debbie and Dan are the best host ever. It was a great day, cool ( Feb 17), part of our family sat around the fire pit. The house is beautiful, has everything you would need. Extremely clean, quiet, and they served breakfast to our crew of 25 the next morning. It was a wonderful venue for a wedding. Also, the cinema room was huge, all the kids enjoyed it.

We love-love-love this place! We only stayed one night for a wedding and it was the BEST experience. We enjoyed an evening around the fire pit, then hung out in the communal dining room area visiting while the kids watched a movie in the huge cinema room. Its just a ginormous house with huge private rooms, so the kids loved getting to roam around and having their own rooms. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious! We will most definitely be back!
