Ashley has been fantastic. We had a negative experience with another groomer when our doodle was a puppy, which meant grooming appointments were always difficult. Ashely is very patient and no nonsense. She takes things slow and gives our pup breaks as needed but also gets the job done. Over the last two years our dog has gone from cowering and trying to escape when arriving at the groomer to wagging her tail and going in with only gentle encouragement. Highly recommend!

Ashley is the only person I will now let groom my 30 lbs. Mini-Golden Bernadoodle. I went to her in July after after a horrible groom experience and she fixed his cut. (for free might I add, but I did give her a tip that was not asked for) I didn't go back because I have 20 other groomers closer to me, so I tried 7 other places. SEVEN. They all told me Teddy was a bad dog. I've been humiliated and felt like it was actually him, until today. "I couldn't do his paws he was too wiggly." "I couldn't cut his face straight because of him." "I couldn't groom his fanny because he wouldn't sit still." "I couldn't trim his nails because xyz." "He jumped off the table and peed." ^^^ Clearly my poor dog has been tramatized, and these are $100+ places with 5 star ratings!!! Including Wag Hotels in Redwood City. DO not use. I could go on and on, but you get the point. It was always HIS fault. Ashley told me the first time, he was great. She even found a large burr between his toes that the groomer missed and could have hurt him badly and caused real medical and financial issues for us both. After the groomer bathed him and spent 3 hours and $150 with him. Today, she said he was even more calm. He looks perfect. Smells great. He didn't even acknowledge me when I came in. Not panting and anxious. Didn't bark and cry when he saw me. Calm and happily walking around with the other doggies wagging his tail like he was in heaven. Ashley, I do not know what you do, but it is magic. Dogs are happy, calm and its a stress free spa day, actually. NO kennels. No kennel loud dryers where your dog sits alone crying with a cage blower. This may not be for every dog. But my dog is socialized and goes to the dog park everyday and loves people, dogs, attention, patience and love. If that is what you want, GO SEE ASHELY.

I initially enjoyed taking Cooper to Namastay for several appointments, but unfortunately, during his last visit, he suffered a razor burn. I promptly contacted Ashley, who advised applying Witch Hazel, but the condition worsened into a hotspot, requiring a vet visit, time off work, a vet bill, and medication, taking two weeks to heal. I notified Ashley and inquired about compensation. She was out of the country and promised to address it upon her return. However, after reaching out post her return, I haven't received a response. This incident has led me to discontinue her services and consider leaving a negative review due to the unresolved safety issue.

Today I went to drop off my 6 pound Maltese to be groomed and I see that there are multiple bigger dogs loose in the grooming area. I asked the groomer (Ashley) if she could put my dog in a crate because I explained he is afraid of other dogs (due to multiple bad experiences at dog parks with bigger dogs). She told me to wait 15 minutes extra past the appointment time so she could finish with another dog so she could put my dog in a crate. I patiently waited, handed her my dog and asked her again. She told me she would and reassured me he is going to be well taken care of. My husband picks up my dog 4 hours later, and tells me that our dog was loose with other dogs at the time of pick up. When I got my dog I saw that he is distressed and was jerky when I tried petting him. So it's honestly disappointing to have waited a few weeks for this appointment on top of 15 min extra to make sure he will be put in a crate only to find that the owner just ignored my concerns... Besides the haircut was pretty choppy.
