I'm a competitive olympic weightlifter. I sustained multiple grade 2 tears (hip adductor, lower abdominals) during a training session last year. I couldn't even squat an empty barbell for the first month or so following the injury. Feeling hopeless, I contacted Jeff after a recommendation from one of my teammates. He promptly scheduled a call with me for the following day to discuss the injury, and then scheduled me to come in for a consultation. After a bunch of range of motion and strength / pain tests, Jeff gave me a super clear explanation of what exactly was wrong (something the doctor never really did), and his recommended rehab protocol. The first week after I started working with Jeff, the injury took a 180 degree turn and I went from feeling hopeless, to feeling happy and excited. I just did exactly what Jeff prescribed, and each week there was a massive improvement. Throughout the rehab process, Jeff was like a second coach to me. He was constantly checking in on me, giving me lots of positive encouragement and reassurance that I was progressing really well and that I WOULD make a complete recovery. I was back to hitting 90% of my maximum lifts within 2 months post injury (only 1 month after I started my rehab with Jeff!), and 3 months post injury, I ended up hitting new PRs in both the snatch and clean and jerk. I believe this was due to the fact that Jeff's treatment protocol was designed not only to rehab the injury, but also to fix the underlying strength imbalances that likely caused in the injury in the first place. I hope I never get injured again, but if I do, Jeff will be the first person I call.

Nothing but positive words for a truly enjoyable and insanely productive experience with Jeff, courtesy of my brother's (another physical therapist) recommendation ever since he knew I signed up for my first powerlifting meet and would likely need a specialist in the strength training space. Having mixed experiences with physical therapists through my general providers in the past, I made a leap to sign up for treatment that was specific to my athletic needs. Jeff not only addressed my hip issues during squats, but also provided invaluable guidance and therapy for the knee injuries I sustained during my snowboarding season, as well as form/technique checks on my other lifts (bench press, deadlift). From our first consultation call to the time after the meet, Jeff's approachability and support made every step of the process feel effortless. His accessibility via text and phone call further underscores his commitment to support my strength goals. Jeff's a wealth of knowledge and it's awesome being a sponge to absorb all sorts of technical details - he was no stranger to nerding out about this space and answering my barrage of questions :) Thanks to Jeff's personalized approach and tailored treatment plan over 1-2 months, I participated in my first ever powerlifting meet, smashed my pre-injury PRs, and am now motivated to chase after new PRs next round knowing he's got my back. Big recommendations for Jeff to anyone seeking his care and expertise, and I intend on working with him in the future my powerlifting needs. Thanks Jeff!!

Where do I even start? I had came to Jeff for an overly painful pec/shoulder pain when benching. I was really skeptical with PTs around my area because the ones Ive met were not really up to date with current research so theyd give you the good ol cookie cutter program and the final not to bench AT ALL. Jeff really reassured I was FINE and that my posture is causing me the shoulder problems. Literally within the session and some internal queuing the pain actually went from 6-7 to almost 1-2. Even thought he was about almost a 2 hr drive away it was 100000% worth it. Very grateful in meeting jeff and the knowledge he bestowed upon me! Thank you!

Jeff helped me with a pec injury I had. Within a month I was back to benching and ended up setting all time PR's shortly thereafter at my first powerlifting meet. Jeff is kind and thoughtful and I would not have been able to compete or recover after without his guidance. Highly recommend for any strength athletes as he is a lifter himself and knows the in and outs of the sport. That kind of knowledge is rare and hard to find.

Jeff is amazing. As a movement professional myself Im extremely selective about who I work with for my own injuries. Jeff not only helped me rehab an acute back injury but helped to address over 20 years of nagging SI joint pain. The best part of the process is I now am not only pain free, but also stronger than before I began PT. Highly recommend!
