I have stayed here for an year and the laundry service sucks. Machines don't work at all ! One of the exit gate was left unrepaired for more than two weeks. Maintenance comes in rarely.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
TLDR: Bf lived here for 4 months, and the mold was so bad in the apartments that mushrooms started to grow out of his carpet on the second story. Management did nothing about it for two months despite coming in to see it with their own eyes. Also, why do they keep employing Selena? She's useless and answers every question with "uhhh idk." Like what DO you know, Selena? She just locks herself in the office and sits on her phone all day they're paying her to do nothing but play on her phone and tell everyone "idk." Lmao.
This is by far one of the worst apartments I've ever seen. The mold is acrually horrible. I dont understand how these apartments haven't been condemned. My boyfriend only lived in the apartment for FOUR MONTHS before they allowed him out of his lease because he literally had mushrooms growing out of his carpet on the second story (see pictures). The regional manager, Josh, Selena (leasing agent), and the "head of maintenance" (whoever the heck that is) showed up, saw the mushrooms with their own eyes, and then proceeded to never make contact with my boyfriend regarding the issue again. That was the worst of the problems, but this place will make you pay to live with such severe mold that it may erupt into literal mushrooms. People with health issues, pets, and young children SHOULD NOT move here. Eventually, we called code enforcement to come check the issues because Skylark nor anybody "in charge" did anything about it.
Besides this, he put in multiple maintenance requests to have things replaced or repaired and, as the leasing agent, Selena, quoted, "it must have just slipped through the cracks." I'm sorry, these cracks must be the size of the Grand Canyon because the number of requests he made that were not addressed could about fill it up, it seems.
Overall, there are much better, safer, and healthier places you could put your rent money, hopefully where management actually cares about the people they're already overcharging for simply existing and not subjecting residents to living with mushrooms and mold.
Also, Selena sucks and Skylark would do themselves a great service by firing her and hiring someone who can actually maintain professionalism and demonstrate quality care for their residents.

Place sucks.
The apartments are practically made out of cardboard and you for sure get landlord specials here including panted over hair in the bathroom. Maintenance team is great and friendly but the staff takes awhile to put in your work order , the actual staff is okay (really the only one I talked to was Jess and she was very nice but has since left the job.) too But they decided instead of contacting me to tell me l owe money after moving out, they automatically sent it to a debt collector. I could say a lot more but I don't feel like giving it the time of day. Unless you like cheap apartments for a premium price with residents who don't respect the rules and have no common sense, don't live here!

Disappointed since moving back.
I moved back because I missed the community (lived here previously for six years) only to come back to find previous employees were gone, and the grounds were no longer maintained to the previous standard.
The work orders I have submitted through email and text take on average a week maybe almost two to be resolved. Prior it was always the same business week.
Hit or miss communication through all platforms not sure what happened to their app for maintenance requests.
No I have my washer and dryer filled with lint from a previous tenant, backed in places I cant reach or clean unless I break apart my dryer, causing our unit to heat 10-15 degrees and makes our unit so humid if you walk in with glasses they instantly fog. Even when using it on the lowest setting. We have been here less than a month.
Our mail lock took forever to be changed and replaced only for the new lock to be installed upside down, and once you unlock it, is almost impossible to lock unless you spend 30 plus minutes jimmying, lifting and praying it sorts itself out.
Our window facing the courtyard parking does not lock, and after the last couple rain storms we have water damage in the walls, seam, and it ended up pooling and damaging all of my childs wooden toys that she accumulated since birth.
I understand staff shortages and being stretched thin, but Skylark and Trion need a more efficient way to not only help the staff currently here but to make the process easier for current tenants to resolve their issues.
Update: I notified them on 01/29/2024 of our broken dryer, and on todays date of 02/12/2024 no one has gotten back to me on when our dryer will be replaced see are unable to run it due to the burning smell. I have to hang dry all of our clothing and household linen. Multiple text communications and emails sent, as of right now it does not seem anybody has been in the office. Incredibly inconvenient when you have two infants and a toddler.
