        Excellent open house with complete sharing of costs and benefits. A current resident provided her personal positive experiences living there. Our sales rep. was very friendly and knowledgeable. The sushi was very good. The facilities are wonderful and this would be a great place to retire.

        My parents have lived at La Vida Real for a year now in Assisted Living. The caregivers have all been so kind and loving to my parents. The restaurant staff are friendly and engage with the residents. The med techs, housekeepers and front reception are also kind and professional. The grounds and building are beautiful, lovingly cared for and they even change the decorations based on the holidays. Every Friday, they have live music and a happy hour in the living room. The food is really good and if you don't like what is on the menu, they will fix anything off of the everyday menu offering plenty of choices. The restaurant is open from 7-7 so residents can decide when they want to eat. The residents are really sweet and look out for each other. There is a safe and beautiful spot where my mom can walk her dog. My dad was part of "The Club" led by Laura who is amazing. It is a daily program for people with cognitive impairment. My dad absolutely loved Laura and the entire group. He was busy all day which gave my mom a break as his Alzheimer disease worsened. We had to bring in hospice a couple of weeks ago and again the people at La Vida Real couldn't have been kinder or more supportive. My father's last days were filled with staff stopping by to sing with him, give him hugs and support my mom. These people really care. You are not going to find a perfect place and every place has challenges with staffing and communication, however, I couldn't be happier. My mom is going to continue to stay because she feels like this is home.
