Mythic and Coach Jeff have been a blessing to our family! My sons love the classes and want to go as much as possible! They have grown both in skills and personally from the classes and coaching. Coach Jeff is so encouraging and engages students in a way that has them saying, "I'm so glad I went. Can I go tomorrow?" Thanks Mythic team! YOU ARE AWESOME!

The Mythic BJJ studio and atmosphere are amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Coach Jeffs technique and teaching ability is above and beyond. Great place for kids and adults!

This place is a conglomerate of awesome coaches and awesome training partners. The coaches all work to share their knowledge with every student and help them work towards their goal weather it's competitive or recreational. If you or your kids want to learn martial arts this is a really special spot!

Mythic is a great place to learn! They offer NoGi Jiujitsu and Gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In addition to BJJ they offer Muay Thai and Escrima along with Yoga. The gym is clean and completely matted along the walls and the ground. There is plenty of gear to borrow and pads and mitts for classes. There are two heavy banana bags for striking with one having the option of being anchored. The third bag is an aqua bag for angled strikes. The facilities include several changing rooms and a lockable full bathroom with a bench and shower. The schedule is varied with lots of options for different times 7 days a week. Check in/Sign in is really simple with an iPad at the front desk or via the MINDBODY app. Mythic is fantastically located on Chapman near DTF, Fullerton College, and CSU Fullerton. There is ample parking in the lot in front of the retail stores or just a tad further there is an entire open parking lot.Having taken classes at more than 5 other schools, I really like the vibes and atmosphere here at Mythic. Professor Jeff is an extremely competent instructor that gives you a lot of looks with a gracious amount of patience. His teaching style emphasizes safe repetitions with plenty of full contact rounds of sparring.On a personal note, his classes over zoom during and after lockdown really helped me. I have followed him to now to three locations over the last near 5 years; this iteration of Mythic is the best yet. Whether you are a competitor or like me, a 30+ year old looking to add sports into your workout routine, Mythic should be a spot to consider.
