We have been going to Dr Gunawan for the past 6 years. Our kids love Dr Gunawan. She is so gentle and patient with them, never pushy. Can't imagine a more caring and fun dentist! Thank you Dr Gunawan and her team for taking care of our family's dental needs and all the sugar bugs.

Let me just start off by saying I hate going to the dentist, I literally have to pregame by meditating and drinking a camomile tea before going in! LolMy daughter and I have been coming here for a few years now and we love all the staff and Dr. Gunawan! Cristina(dental hygienist) and Dr. Gunawan are very gentle and will work with you with any procedure you need.I've chipped/cracked the same molar filling 4 times last year(pandemic stress!), and as I write this, this is the 5th time and I'm about to call the office to schedule me ASAP! HahahaCall them, you will love her and the team!

The best, most caring and professional staff all around with quality equipment! The new location is so clean and refreshing, although the old location was kept in pretty good shape. I have been going to Dr. Gunawan for years. I remember my first visit with them, I had a cavity that had been filled by another dentist 15 years prior and it messed up the grooves in my crown. Every dentist that I saw in that 15 year period would just make comments about how I have cavities, even though I explained to them that it has been filled just very poorly. Dr. Gunawan was the first dentist to notice right off the bat that it was an odd filling and she offered to fix it for me and did it that day! I no longer have an awkward fit to my bite. I recently switched dental insurance to Medi-Cal since I changed jobs and unfortunately they don't accept Medi-Cal here. I ended up going to a dentist that accepted my new dental insurance and had an awful experience. A week later a bunch of streaks started appearing on my teeth. I went back to Dr. Gunawan and she explained that the likely reason is that dentist was too aggressive and had abrasive equipment which created large microscopic grooves in my teeth for stains to accumulate. I have never had stains on my teeth prior to that dentist. Dr. Gunawan and her team removed the stains from my teeth and re-sealed them to ward off the staining. I would gladly pay out of pocket to see Dr. Gunawan again to keep my teeth clean and healthy rather than dealing with all the awful Medi-Cal dentists who actually ruin your teeth!

Dr Gunawan is the best dentist I have had ever! After 40+ years of good, ok and horrible ones, she is absolutely fantastic, always very calming and understanding, patient with all of my dental anxieties. She takes the time to explain everything well too.... Hooray 4 Me and My Teeth :-)

I have been coming here for years. Dr. Gunawan and her staff are so caring. There is no assembly line in and out here. They really take your concerns to heart and treat you with courtesy, kindness and respect. Dr. Gunawan is an excellent dentist. She take her time and your concerns to heart.
