We contacted Restoration Management Company after discovering that we had a hot water leak in the crawl space beneath our house. The leak had been going for some time (probably weeks) unnoticed except for the huge water bills, and a lot of humidity in the house. It had started to effect the inside temp of floors, moisture coming up onto inside of walls.
We had probably 6 inches of standing water in places on the foundation dirt over maybe a 1,000sq feet of area. Rick and his team quickly responded and we had pumps draining the standing water that day. They knew exactly the process to follow to mitigate the issue, huge heaters and dehumidifier machines were brought in and the sealed off areas to allow the drying process to begin.
Removing all the wet insulation from every damp area under the house through a 3 foot access hole in a closet was an ordeal I'm happy I didn't have to worry about. They left the house spotless and safe every time they left after the daily inspections of moisture levels.
They dealt with all the insurance details seamlessly. letting us know on a daily basis the level of moisture under the house with moisture meters - and identifying any areas that could be possible problem areas in the future.
As a homeowner I would 100% recommend Restoration Mgmt Co. It was a very stressful situation handled with utmost professionalism, and follow through, from the daily scheduler Analise (i think) all the way through to the owner Jon.
Special thanks to the Project Manager Rick who has been very accessible via texts and calls after the fact, and to Ernesto who typically handled coming every day to crawl under the house with his colleagues...and dealing with two attack (licking) dogs ...
