image Barry the manager has been very helpful in resolving our issues since he came onboard with management.
The apartment complex is filled with good family oriented people and maintenance workers are kind and helpful when we need them. Overall this has been a wonderful home for my family.
Definitely recommend for families!

image I moved to the esplanade not too long ago. Its got everything that you would need (laundry on site, gated parking, a pool), at a very reasonable price. Its a family property too, great neighbors, never loud, super nice and helpful as well. But do you want to know what the best thing is? Its the resident manager Barry. This man is a godsend!
Anyone whos lived in apartment buildings knows how integral the residential manager is in ensuring that the residents have a positive experience. The managers can make or break everything, regardless of the buildings actual features (experienced this myself by living in apt buildings for the last 15 years). Im glad weve got Barry. Hes always super helpful, quick in responding, and in making sure anything I need is taken care of.
From previous experiences, I knew that the managers hired by Carlo Inc for their properties are fantastic, and Barry not only meets that bar but far exceeds it. The positive uplifting vibes Ive felt from our interactions speaks to his character; and his professionalism in dealing with anything relating to the building speaks to his ability as a manager. If you have any doubts regarding this place, I HIGHLY recommend you come and speak with Barry just once. Youll know exactly what Im talking about and be sold.

image It has been horrible since day one living here. When we first moved in, the apartment was infested with hundreds of cockroaches. We were informed the previous tenant had an infestation and we werent told of this until after moving in. Bugs were crawling over our bed and on our walls for weeks. They refused to pro-rate our rent or cover the hotel even though it was unlivable. We had to repair holes in the walls oursleves to try and keep all the bugs out (An exterminator was eventually sent, this should have been done before my family was put in harms way). Second the mailboxes have been broken and our mail has been missing serval times. Its been weeks and this issue is still unresolved. Third my girlfriends car was stolen from the complex, and my truck was broken into and vandalized more than once inside the gated parking. The gate is useless and transients are regularly roaming the parking lot. Dont let your loved ones go to the car alone especially at night. The apartment management took no meaningful action to keep us and the other tenants safe and refused to let the other residents know our cars were stolen/vandalized. Police reports filed for Grand theft auto and felony vandalism in an attempt to view security footage (we were never able to gain access to footage of our property being damaged from management.). The response from the apartment management was, they are not responsible for keeping residents safe or protecting anyones property. In summary, this apartment complex is dirty, dangerous, and mismanaged. I feel horrible for people who are locked into their lease like we were, or people who still live here, or any future resident who doesnt see this review.

We continuously take necessary care of our community to ensure all our residents feel comfortable in their homes, such as monthly pest service spray for the common areas. Upon request, we also provide pest service spray to individual apartment homes. Regarding mailboxes, we are happy to inform that we have taken precautionary action to prevent future mailbox break-ins. We consistently remind our residents not to leave their keys in their vehicles. Unfortunately, in this instance, they were present. After conversing with your girlfriend a few months back, we were glad to hear that she recovered her vehicle. We are here to discuss this matter further. image My car was stolen from the gated parking lot and I could not get ahold of the resident manager for several days. Once I was able to get ahold of her, she said the safety of the residents and their property is not her responsibility. There were also cockroaches in the apartment which we noticed upon the initial move-in inspection. We were assured that the apartment would be fumigated and cleaned again before we moved our belongings in. This is when we found out that the previous tenants had been evicted for unsanitary conditions which brought cockroaches to the complex. We continued to find insects both dead and alive for several weeks until we decided to take matters into our own hands by sealing the inside of the apartment and spraying for bugs ourselves. The mailboxes were broken for several months and we had no idea where our mail was being routed to. Despite reaching out to the resident manager weekly for months we never got an answer. The resident managers/supervisors that we have encountered at this property are unhelpful and unfit.
