I love PEL. It is good.

It has been good. And it can improve learning ability, and math ability. That's a good place!! We meet monthly to evaluate the progress. I've already recommended this to a few people so far.

I tried reaching out to this center multiple times. I sent emails as well. I never received a call back nor an email.

My two kids have been going to Pel for three years, they took both the math and English subject. They start at 4th and 1st grade. I always thought we don't need tutoring and it is a waste of money because school suppose to teach you everything. Until my older kid comes home from school with the math homework, which looks very easy to me, and doesn't know how to do it. I sense there is something wrong. How can they survive in college. Pel is not the first one we tried, the first one we tried is an after school program which they have to go every day and expensive. They are not too focused on the academic subject like Math and English which is needed to succeed in college. I also tried getting some material like spectrum and have them do it at home, but it is a lot of work for me and it is not effective. Also tried abacus for a while but doesn't focus on what they need.I came to know about Pel from my wife's friend and want to try it out. We have a session with Ms Carmen. My kids took the evaluation test while she explains how Pel works. Pel is more like a coaching program where they will provide the kids with homework every week from the program base on their level, they will come twice a week to the center to go over their work and see if they need help on it. Kids also learn to be self discipline and self motivated and time management. This is exactly what I was looking for. The price is reasonable and we don't have to spend too much time going there. The materials is very good, slowly progressing on the difficulty so kids won't get frustrated. The kids spend about half to an hour a day working on the homework. I can see the results, they have performed well in school and learn and master material above their grade level. For example, my now 4th grader can do fraction addition, multiple digit multiplication and division while some kids  in school still struggle for single digit multiplication.

In fact, YELP may block this review, but I truly do not care because this review is from my inner voice about Mr. Kenny and Ms. Carmen.  They are not just the after school program educators for the students; they are the busy parents to two wonderful children of their own as well. They have this "Personal Belief" that if the parents send their kids to their learning center, they want to absolutely certain that they are competent directors who run a caring, productive, and well structured learning environment for the kids.  Because, in return, they want other learning center(s) to treat their children the same way as they are.  In addition, they are fully aware of the school education system and they can help the students on their path to academic and life long success.  I am here NOT to participate in popularity contest.  I am here to let the parents know that you can rest assure when you send your kids to them.
