        The falls are very pretty, especially after rains. Nestled among redwood trees, this trail has plenty of wooden bridges, ferns and a plant with green leaves facing the top but the same leaves were purple facing the ground. Also saw a few wild elk near the entrance. Free entrance to the trail, plenty of parking when we went there. The trail is moderate in difficulty, but the loop is only 2.5 miles and my 5 year old completed it with a little encouragement. It was quite muddy with all the rain from the previous day but that was to be expected.

        Pretty simple and short hike. There are some ups and downs but relatively easy compared to many of the other hikes in the area Restrooms: There restrooms are easily accessible and cleaner than many in the area.

        Free entrance to the trail, plenty of parking when we went there.
        The trail is moderate in difficulty, but the loop is only 2.5 miles and my 5 year old completed it with a little encouragement. It was quite muddy with all the rain from the previous day but that was to be expected.
