I love it here. Management is great! It's quaint. The studios are the largest in the valley. You have many amenities, and it's centrally located. Large dogs are allowed!!!

Wally the leasing agent is five stars. When I first called, he answered on the first ring, and also promptly returns calls and texts. When I explained I couldn't see the unit in person right away, he went and took photos immediately, and sent me no less than 20 photos of the exact unit. I honestly have never encountered someone so hard working and professional working in the leasing business in LA.
I was able to travel to see the unit in person, and wanted to give a review for anyone else looking at these units and scratching their head based on the other reviews:
- I did not see any bugs or roaches. I looked in every cabinet and drawer, and even had Wally help me pull out the oven to look behind it. I saw a second unit for comparison and same, no bugs. I was told they spray the building twice a month and if you have problems, they spray same day.
- Water. They said all the plumbing has been replaced and the work is completed. I saw reviews about bad tasting or smelling water. I ran the taps for over a minute on hot and cold, and also tasted the water. It had no bad taste or smell.
- The property is really beautiful. I looked at a unit facing Reseda and also one facing the pool. Both had really beautiful landscaping and trees. The pool looks like an oasis (and is cleaned twice a week), and the view across Reseda gives a big view of the sky, no tall buildings.
- The units are renovated. Really nice vinyl wood flooring, the kitchens are completely redone with brand new appliances and come with a refrigerator AND a dishwasher.
- LARGE walk in closet space.
- The unit itself is very large, with the galley kitchen and service island, a breakfast nook with wood paneling, a large area for a living room, and a large area for a queen size bed.
- The bathrooms are a little small, but how much time do you spend in the bathroom. They were still nice. New fixtures, etc. Nothing corroded away/covered in mineral deposits, no worn away enamel in the tub.
- The patios are very nice and private.
- They have a ceiling fan in the breakfast nook, a narrow but tall kitchen window, the sliding glass door to the patio, and a wall unit that is both AC and heat that is new and powerful on both settings.
- Secured mailroom and package delivery.
- Gated parking.
The building manager was also on site. I didn't get to meet her except in passing. I will say this: it was her day off and she was still in the office. First she was helping a tenant that had an emergency, and second it looked like she was working with maintenance. And like I said, Wally is very personable, professional, patient, diligent, and accommodating.
It kills me that I decided not to relocate back to LA, because these are beautiful apartments, and amazing for the price.

I have lived at Villa La Paloma for quite a few years. I must say that in that time, several managers have been here and gone. Our current manager is awesome! She takes the needs of the tenants very serious and without delay. Im glad Moss &Co. found her.
My unit is perfect for me and my lifestyle. I have been very comfortable since our current manager has been here. I cant say that about most in the past.
