Location convenient from highway. small front parking lot. No entry into hotel from rear parking lot.

I had to cancel my booking and Kamalii was very helpful with assisting me. She was very accommodating and nice.

I would say this hotel is beginning to look like a motel 6. Towels were stained and old. Sink would not drain and everything in room looks old. Not what I expected from a Marriott

I travel a fair amount on business and probably have fairly high standards, but also try to stay reasonable. If I stay in Salinas again, I will look elsewhere. Overall, this place struck me as not being well managed. The staff we interacted with were all professional and hard working. Room cleanliness was good enough, but housekeeping had signs of not paying proper attention to detail. For example, our room only had 3 bath towels although we booked it for 4 people, and, the one time we had them service the room, they didn't leave us any wash clothes at all (it did have some when we checked-in). And, although the Fitness Center was surprisingly well equipped for this hotel, 1 of the 2 treadmills and 2 of the TVs were broken (smashed screens). The place essentially looked like they had tried to update it somewhat recently but failed to maintain good quality. Their Friday-night rate of $269 was frankly absurd.
