College Ready

So far we have just had an introductory call with Shellee and Keri. It was fast and easy to make the appt. We did a zoom call with them and our kids (freshmen). They were both very engaged with the kids, positive about the upcoming years and reassured them that they will take things at their pace. They also taught us about the key elements that colleges look for in a student application. We are hopeful that this program will be the support that the kids and I are looking for!

I took the College Ready free webinar and found it useful enough to do the discovery session which is rare. Shellee had practical tips around financial aid which made me think there may be hope for getting some money after all and potentially saved me from not being able to apply later if my circumstances change. She also got me thinking about my younger son a lot early than I would have. I find them practical and strategic and extremely knowledgeable in ways that even as a well-researched parent, I couldnt be.

We have had a great experience so far. Our daughter (who had no real idea what she wanted to do) spoke to Chantel. Chantel immediately had a great rapport with her and quickly helped her understand her strengths and some areas to focus on. We are very glad we have had College Ready's help.

College Ready has been a great experience for our daughter Taylor and our family. It helped us develop a strategic approach, helping Taylor stand out from the competitive crowd, getting accepted from all seven of the colleges that she applied to, and receiving scholarships from six of the seven schools. Shellee was prompt in scheduling our discovery call, which was impressive and showed her commitment to helping us. During the discovery call, she took the time to understand my dughters academic strengths, interests, and career aspirations. She explained some of the application process, suggested various community service initiatives and extracurricular activities that could enhance my daughters application and offered guidance on essays. Overall we left the call with a sense of direction, which relieved a lot of our anxiety about college applications.
