Provident Credit Union (San Mateo Community Branch)

Banking services are fine but do not get a credit card from here. They offer attractive rewards but put security freezes on you credit so often it makes the card basically unusable. I've had my signature credit card for at least five years and within the last six month they have put four security holds on my card. This forces me to call in and verify activity. None of this activity was suspicious or for large amounts. No overseas transactions or anything that would be considered suspicious. I use it for everyday purchases and I never carry a balance. I earn thousands a year in cash back. What do you guys think is going on here ?

Great bank, branch and customer service.We were planning to move from another State and were clearly described all the options with multiple loans and accounts. Branch manager Tetiana and her staff are the best. Knowledgeable, organized, incredibly professional.Definitely will come back to the bank of our choice Roman

I have ALWAYS received the very best customer service from Provident, especially the San Mateo branch.Today I worked with Edward who was a total professional and he handed me Tetiana when mu basic banking needs had been cared for and Tetiana had to step in for some specialized care. This is the second time in the last few months I have had extensive dealings with Tetiana and she is always professional and VERY helpful!  Five stars for Provident and Ten stars for Tetiana and the staff in San Mateo!

I can't say enough about the awesome! Customer Service I received from rep Tetiana M., at Provident Credit Union today.  If all their reps are like Tetiana!  You're in for a real treat!  I mean really, if all my Customer Service experiences were like this one!  I'd at least look 3 yrs younger!! LOL.  Tetiana is the consummate professional.  She is knowledgeable, thorough and walked me through the entire application process!  Literally, from beginning to the end!  Effortlessly!  It was such a pleasure working with her today and that's!  Why am I writing this review.  I recommend PCU %100 and thank you for that amazing!  Customer Service.
