Provident Credit Union (Hayward Community Branch)

Had a awesome experience at the bank yesterday. Had to meet the manager Mr. Lal with my issue. He was friendly, kind hearted, warm and helped in resolving our issue.

Easy branch to walk into and get any thing sorted out with the accounts. The tellers here are great. They offer competitive financial services.

In person service Friday mid-day took 8ish minutes. Computers seem slow for straightforward transactions. LOVE the prompt texts for account activity. Staff are great face to face or on the phone.

I am very unhappy after wasting my time with this credit union today. I got an email saying my money would be sent to the sate due to no axtivity, which in the end was not true because my CD matures next year. Then to move the money in my savings to a CD I was offered, I was told to send a picture ID on line which I do not do as I do not think is safe. Why send a picture when the account will still be under the same name with no information changing at all. WHAT A WASTE OF my TIME today with Provident?
