Lemon Tree Inn

I'm in two minds about this place. The restaurant was so nice. Dinner was lovely and so nice. Food prepared well, mixed drinks fun and outside firepit romantic and ambient. They have a happy hour in the restaurant, and restaurant was very surprising with delicious food/menu and great service. However, the room was a bit sketchy. And I am bit reluctant saying this as there were things that were really nice and things that were not at all. In the room I think there was mold in the bathroom. It had a peculiar smell and repair grout work. We just kept the door closed to the bathroom and no issues there. The outside garden area was just lovely to sit out and have a glass of wine. Pool view was really nice. The pool is great for swimming laps. There is an outside large chess playing area near one of the firepits, which was a lot fun to play. So, I am in two minds about this place. Price point was nice, Restaurant and service great, the room bathroom not so great, but outside balcony lower level, garden area so nice! Pool also great for swimming. So a 3 star/to 4 star rating based on mixed feelings about all we experienced. Altogether, a really enjoyable stay, aside from bathroom in room.

some of the unimportant stuff is a little run down but this is a classy place with new showers, heated pool and great service. lots of fragrant lemon trees and new patio furniture. would take this over a Vegas hotel any day of the week

We stopped one night in Santa Barbara at the Lemon Tree Inn. Very pleasant hotel, spacious room overlooking the swimming pool, the children were able to enjoy the giant chess board located right next door. Parking is free. Good value for money.
